Biography: James Leung is a classically trained artist. Since the age of four, he has been drawing comics. In high school, he trained as an assistant to Ray Lago (X-Men '95 Ultra Fleer, Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Collected Best III, and Predator: Race War). In college, he was classically trained in oil painting and sculpture. James was mentored by Sandy Skoglund (Radioactive Cats, Fox Games, and Revenge of the Goldfish) and Stephen Laub. In August 2007, he formed Detour Noir Studios with five other members.
