Biography: All it took was one cheesy cartoon about a princess from the moon to make Ame fall in love with Japanese comics hook, line, and sinker. She'd dabbled a little with American comics, but the storylines really didn't appeal to her, even if the art was beautiful. Shoujo comics, and their emphasis on romance, captured her heart and imagination immediately. As she got sucked into more and more stories and had her emotions expertly toyed with by amazing manga-ka, she realized that she wanted to give the same experience to others. To have other people fall in love with her characters and to take them on an emotional roller coaster ride. Thus, she happily joined up with the six other original members of Detour Noir Studios in August of 2007.
